Meresankh I

Meresankh I is assumed to have been the mother of king Snofru. If this is the case and if it can also be assumed that she was a wife of Huni's, then Snofru was the son of his predecessor.

Her name appears to have been mentioned on a fragment of the Palermo Stone, which relates her to Snofru. An estate of Meresankh I may be named in the tomb of Pehernefer in Saqqara.
She is also mentioned in a graffito together with Snofru at Meidum, but which dates to the 18th Dynasty.
